SIM DR-20 is a simulator software of DR-20 digital controller
of SIEMENS. The user works with the system in the same way that
with the real equipment, to manual or automatic commutation, change
of setpoint, adjustment of parameters and control structures, etc.
Optionally, you can visualize the variation of the most important
variables: setpoint, controlled variable, control signals, errors.
Several windows inform about the values of the parameters and controller
internal structure. For the simulation, first order and second order
plants are used, that allow to close the control loop. Nevertheless,
with an analogic input/output board SIM DR-20 allows the direct
digital control of a real process.
